The Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy

The Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy (CSTE) was founded by the Boston University School of Medicine and the non-profit Sports Legacy Institute to study the long term effects of repetitive head injuries.  The mission of the CSTE is to study the neuropathology, diagnosis, clinical presentation, disease course, genetic and environmental risk factors, and ways to prevent and treat the progressive disease, Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy.  For more information on the CSTE, please visit www.bu.edu/cste or contact 617-638-6143.
